- Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking across EMEA markets to inform sourcing decisions and ensure competitive pricing
- Lead complex vendor negotiations independently, structuring deals that account for local market conditions while protecting Anthropic's financial interests
- Build and maintain preferred-vendor frameworks for key EMEA categories, driving consolidation and leverage where appropriate
- Manage RFP processes for major EMEA engagements
- Business Partnership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the embedded procurement partner to EMEA teams across Workplace, Finance, Legal, People, and other functions
- Partner with Legal, Security, TPRM, and Finance to ensure EMEA vendor engagements meet compliance and risk requirements across jurisdictions
- Translate complex sourcing and financial concepts for non-procurement stakeholders; build trust through responsiveness and results
- Proactively surface risks, savings opportunities, and vendor performance insights to business owners
- Collaborate with the US-based Procurement team to ensure alignment on global vendor strategies and procurement standards

- Required Qualifications
- Experience: 7-10 years in procurement operations, strategic sourcing, or category management
- International Procurement: Demonstrated experience managing procurement across multiple geographies and navigating EMEA contracting, compliance, and vendor structures
- Category Depth: Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: Real Estate & Workplace procurement or Professional Services (Big 4 consulting, advisory, audit, legal)
- Systems Proficiency: Experience with Zip, NetSuite, Coupa, or similar procurement platforms
- Negotiation: Track record of independently leading complex vendor negotiations
- Data Analysis: Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with basic SQL or BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) for vendor and spend analysis
