- Willingness to work within a Japanese corporate culture that values collaboration, alignment, and long‑term relationships
- Experience in mid‑ to long‑term technology development or advanced research programs
- Hands‑on experience working with research institutes, universities, or public research organizations
- Experience overseeing or coordinating end‑to‑end development from design through manufacturing for digital or analog semiconductor products
- Experience working in or with Europe and/or North America
- Experience contributing to technology roadmaps or long‑term R&D strategy
- PhD or equivalent research experience in a relevant technical field
- Familiarity with joint research frameworks, consortium‑based research, or government‑funded programs
