As a Sr Project Engineer, you will be taking care of technical aspects of project delivering for SCADA/EMS/GMS/ADMS projects using Monarch platform for customers across different geographies. You will be managing/supporting a high-performance team and be responsible for design, planning, integration, testing, training, and commissioning of hardware and software requirements on a customer system based on project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Assess technical specification requirements for projects, evaluate risks and identify mitigation plans.
- Understand project requirements through interactions with customer & internal stakeholders. Delegate tasks within and across the teams as necessary.
- Design, plan, integrate, test and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems.
- Provide networking and system/application design.
- Perform hardware, software and system installation, integration and perform factory functional testing for SCADA, Web platform, High speed Historian, and other related functionalities.
- Document and track progress of project activities and report any technical issues.
- Provide Subject-matter expert support to Solutions / Proposals team to bring out competitive advantage of AspenTech in tenders.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience, with 2+ years of experience in managing a team.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering.
- Experience with SCADA systems, database creation, configuration of web platforms, knowledge of enterprise historians, testing and commissioning.
- Knowledge of configuration of SCADA software packages, SQL database, ODBC and report generation.
- Knowledge of computer architecture, networking, databases and operating systems.
- Understanding of utility use-cases (Electricity / Gas / Water / Renewables).
