Logistics Management Specialist

About the role

You will serve as a Logistics Managemetn Specialist in the Optimization Divison of the Product Support Managemetn/Integration (PSM/I) Department of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Competence in advanced theory, concepts, principles, and practices of all aspects of the broad field of logistics management 2) Knowledge of Life Cycle Logistics Management System, the system/equipment life-cycle phases and the documentation, analyses, and reviews associated with those phases 3) Thorough knowledge of DOD budget processes; administrative relationships within the Navy and DOD; and administrative relationships with the Systems Command and field activities 4) Knowledge of Defense Acquisition Regulations (DAR) for the development of contracts and contract modifications required for the acquisition of logistics/maintenance products and services.
