Job Description Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reporting and reconciliation tasks. Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights to aid decision-making. Monitor and manage financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and approvals. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on financial processes and objectives. Analyse financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Manage and process employee payroll accurately and on time while ensuring compliance with regulations. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with audits as required. Provide support for ad hoc financial projects and initiatives. The Successful Applicant A successful Finance Accountant should have: A degree or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field. Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within a professional setting. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and relevant regulations. Proficiency in financial software and systems, with advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
