Prepare Group Balance Sheet reconciliations (equity, goodwill, equity accounted investments) Prepare reporting packs to Japan Post and ensure accuracy and completeness of the included information: Monthly: Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash flow, Debt information, etc. Quarterly: 4 reporting packs, that include various disclosures similar to those, required for financial statements. This includes: Liasing with Japan Post accounting team throughout the process Liaising with various stakeholders to ensure data collection Collating financial data Performing checks for completeness and consistency Preparing supporting schedules and documentation Managing the timeline for the team to ensure timely submission to Japan post Calculate FCTR on specific entities Support group balance sheet and income statement analytical review Assist in preparation of the Toll Group annual statutory consolidated financial statements (specific disclosures), and local financial statements for specific entities Support internal and external audits Track the legal entities cross-check to the legal register and Onestream Manage the process for the letters of financial support to be issued to the subsidiaries Perform ABS quarterly and annual reporting Ensure the accounting records are properly maintained and accounting policies are followed Provide support on group finance initiatives and project work as required. Operational Excellence Assist with process improvement activities aimed at improving the efficiency and consistency of group close and reporting processes. Competencies The role successful candidate should be able to demonstrate: A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance. 3 to 5 years' experience in group accounting, financial reporting or audit. CPA or CA qualification or currently working towards completion. Exposure to reporting under IFRS. Experience supporting month‑end close in a multi‑entity environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes. Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
