Reporting to the Receiver the successful candidate will be responsible for: Receiving, storing and issuing stock, preparing reorders as necessary. Maintaining established par levels on both food and non-food items, checking quality and quantity as per Company standards. Maintaining the cleanliness, organization and safe environment of storerooms, fridges and surrounding areas with the help of Stewarding. Is responsible for month-end inventory taking, calculations and cost adjustments. Work with Receiver to follow up on back orders and partial shipments, ensuring goods received on scheduled delivery dates. Act for the Receiver and or Head Storeperson in their absence. Assist in maintaining other storerooms. Adequately assess the needs of departments with regards to par stock levels. May provide assistance to the Accounting department as required. Other duties as required. Strong organizational skills. Some experience in Accounting or Food & Beverage services would be an asset. Excellent attention to detail with very strong communication and organization skills. Has a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications especially Excel, Word, Outlook. Must be able to perform continuous heavy lifting. Previously demonstrated ability to work "Safely". The ideal candidate would have some previous experience as a Store person in a hotel, Restaurant or Food & Beverage operation. Ability to meet deadlines in a demanding, exacting environment Canadian work authorization.
