As the successful candidate, you will make significant contributions to the Bachelor of Speech and Hearing Sciences through outstanding teaching and curriculum design. You will also lead a vibrant program of speech science research that is aligned with your expertise. This position is located in the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences (FMHHS) . FMHHS is ambitiously pushing the boundaries of progressive thinking and challenging what's possible to solve some of the big issues of our time, both nationally and on a global scale. The current education suite of FMHHS includes courses in clinical science, physiotherapy, medicine and public health, psychological sciences, linguistics, audiology, and speech pathology. FMHHS forms part of MU Health, which is an integrated academic health sciences enterprise that incorporates Macquarie University Hospital and primary and speciality clinics. FMHHS has active research programs in neurosciences, health systems and patient safety research, cancer medicine, and clinical psychological sciences, amongst others. PRIMARY DETAIL We are seeking an outstanding teaching & research academic with expertise in Speech Science to join our growing Speech and Hearing Sciences discipline within the Department of Linguistics. - Salary Package: Senior Lecturer (Level C) from $155,236 to $178,523 p.a. or Associate Professor (Level D) from $186,433 - $205,067 p.a. plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading. - Appointment Type: Full-time, continuing position - Location: Macquarie University (Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde)
