About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Manatee Cove Marina on Patrick SFB, FL. This position includes the opportunity to enroll in Health and Life Insurance, 401K and Retirement, Annual and Sick Leave. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have supervisory experience and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage subordinates. Must have knowledge & experience in carpentry, plumbing, & painting trades/occupations with an advanced working knowledge of vessel operations and maintenance. Must have demonstrated the ability to troubleshoot and determine the need for repair and servicing facilities, utilities, and equipment. Requires the ability to plan, schedule and direct the work operations of subordinates and a basic knowledge and skill in the use of tools of the trade. Must be able to lift, bend, and work in awkward positions both indoors and outdoors. Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds and heavier with assistance. Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license. Must successfully complete a preemployment physical. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier I, National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
