These are opportunities to work alongside our experienced and passionate colleagues and clients to envisage, plan, design, innovate, create and project manage programs of water & wastewater infrastructure to positively impact the public health of our regional communities and the sustainability of our environment. About the roles we're recruiting for and the skills we're seeking Beca HunterH2O has been successful in being appointed to several long-term partnerships with Icon Water (Canberra), Hunter Water (Newcastle) and numerous councils on the north coast of NSW and in the Namoi / New England regions. These partnerships are collaborative and typically involve bringing together teams of technical and delivery experts to develop assets across all phases of their lifecycle. We are particularly seeking project managers, program managers, project controllers and design managers who have a background or interest in the water industry. These roles require excellent communication and co-ordination skills to collaborate with our clients and their stakeholders, lead talented multi-disciplinary engineers during project planning and development phases and to assist our clients in managing construction. Working within delivery frameworks underpinned by the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), these roles will also require knowledge and skills in scope, time, cost, quality, procurement, risk and resource management. You will be surrounded and supported by industry experts to develop and integrate these skills, and many of our staff express how rewarding it is to see the projects that they have stewarded be constructed and operating. You will be qualified with a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, commerce or related professional field, and ideally have or wish to pursue chartership with Engineers Australia or a similar professional organization. Other desirable and relevant knowledge areas include: contract management, commercial acumen, strategic planning and business case development, partnership management, portfolio management, operations experience, business development and/or a demonstrated technical knowledge of design and engineering principles within the water industry. You will be working in a team environment that invests in and supports diversity, flexibility, continuous improvement, mentoring and professional development. As our pipeline is spread across NSW and the ACT, there can be some flexibility in work location.
