Your role and work environment You will be a member in one of ING's most strategically important Centres of Expertise within Operational Design, Control & Resilience (ODCR), operating at the intersection of Operational Resilience, Sourcing & Shared Services (Third Party & Intragroup), and Process Architecture & Modelling. This role is central to delivering ING's ambition to build safe, secure, efficient, and futureproof operations, fully aligned with the COO and ING strategy. The purpose of this role is to implement ING's integrated Framework and Operations for Sourcing & Shared Services AND Operational Resilience. The role defines procedures for the full lifecycle of sourcing (Third Party and Intragroup) and operational resilience, Supports as delegate for Control Standard ownership, ensures global to local alignment for the whole Business partner Community. This role prescribes the procedures for all stakeholders in ING to start, define, implement and maintain (BAU) TIPM with an efficient and compliant way of working. Working closely with various domains, hub locations, technology departments, and senior leadership, you help shape the bankwide way of working and ensure readiness for future challenges, regulatory expectations, and strategic transformation. You define procedures for the full lifecycle of sourcing (Third Party and Intragroup) and operational resilience, Control Standard ownership, governance and guidance and local alignment for the whole Business Partner Community. This role operates at both strategic and tactical levels, ensuring ING has compliant, resilient, and ready for future Resilience and Sourcing procedures to execute. By defining forward looking views and leveraging benchmark with peers, you play a key role in ensuring the future bank remains compliant and effective. This role directly reports to the Lead for Framework & Operations. Roles and Responsibilities Vision and Strategy Execution Define and implement a unified sourcing, shared services, and resilience vision & strategy for ING Strengthen compliance by design and align with process control & resilience business partners for smooth implementation Develop and implement quality control and risk monitoring capabilities Maintain and improve crisis management and business continuity capabilities Define, implement, and maintain governance, standards, and frameworks for sourcing and resilience Stay Safe, Secure and Compliant Define procedures alligned supporting full compliance to external regulatory commitments (e.g., TIPM, DORA, EBA GL) Ensure test of design for policies (e.g., TIPM, BCM, ORS) across all entities Maintain gatekeeping and oversight for sourcing and resilience Drive governance across Retail, Wholesale & Tech Operational Excellence Design and implement resilience/continuity and sourcing processes Enhance framework and processes in line with Scaleable Operations strategy Drive continuous improvement of standards, reference materials, and runbooks Fit-for-Future Adherence to integrated resilience and sourcing methodology Build and maintain critical service catalogues and TIPM environments Contribute to shared creation and implementation of methodologies and tooling Collaboration Build global specialized communities to leverage knowledge across ING; crossdomain collaboration for Operational resilience & TIPM stakeholders Utilize process control & resilience value chain communities for implementation Leverage value chain business partner roles for embedding sourcing and resilience requirements by design Rewards and benefits We want to make sure that it's possible for you to strike the right balance between your career and your private life.
