HDR is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Singapore Building Engineering Services (BES) team. This position will be working on projects across a range of markets, primarily the Mission Critical sector. The principal activities of the role will be: Delivering building services design packages from concept through to construction Undertaking detailed engineering calculations, design development and system selection Producing coordinated, compliant drawings, reports and specifications Ensuring designs meet Singapore codes, standards and regulatory requirements Coordinating discipline inputs and resolving design interfaces Supporting construction-phase activities including inspections and technical queries Contributing to technical improvement initiatives and best practice Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Typically, 6-12 years' relevant experience Familiar with local code and authority submission procedure Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines Commitment to continuous professional development, both for own development as well as that of team members Mission Critical Design / Data Centre Design Experience is an added advantage Design experience with BIM is an added advantage Knowledge consulting experience and successful project management experience in the MEP sector is an added advantage Appreciates teamwork and good interpersonal skills Singaporean or PR Benefits and Culture Global organization with opportunities for international travel and collaboration Award-winning sustainable projects HDR University learning platform with access to webinars, LinkedIn Learning, and the Pinnacle Series Rewards program including referrals, long service awards, and certification bonuses Company paid Annual Professional Membership Fees Employee Assistance Program A culture that supports and encourages inclusion and diversity where each of us are welcomed, valued, respected, and empowered to bring our authentic selves to work every day Why HDR At HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for; it's also about what you do and how you do it.
