This role will focus on writing, online publications, social media, content creation and public relations for the department. Essential Functions Conduct research on the media landscape to identify public relations opportunities Write first drafts of press releases and media pitches Design first drafts of social media posts Write articles for departmental internal communications Develop a digital content calendar for the Department of Finance Create and distribute media (photos, infographics) to relevant communication platforms Create, edit, and publish content for social media
