JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity at The Pennsylvania State University seeks to fill several part-time Marketing , Promotion, and Publication undergraduate student staff position s for the academic year 2026 -2027 . These roles provide an opportunity for students to develop and demonstrate competencies including communication, teamwork, leadership, advocacy, professionalism, career development, critical thinking , and personal growth . Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Design and produce engaging graphic content that supports inclusive messaging and reflects the Center's mission . Collaborate with professional staff and peers to develop, edit, and assess promotional materials for yearlong programming . Create, manage, and evaluate social media content across platforms, using analytics to inform strategy and improve audience engagement . Create content using Penn State branding guidelines and accessibility requirements that represent the work of the Center across campus. Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide front-facing office support, including answering phone calls and greeting visitors in a positive, inclusive, and professional manner. Manage multiple responsibilities while demonstrating strong time management, adaptability, and initiative in a dynamic work environment. Take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to continuous improvement of programs and services. Represent the Center by staffing information tables during campus wide outreach events and programs. Assist with the organization, cleanliness, and management of the Center's spaces. Support and provide staff ing for large r , signature events sponsored by the Center. Take initiative on projects and complete other duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and accountability.
