Environmental Control Officer (ECO)

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or relevant field equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in construction, environmental or related fields;
• NEA registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO);
• PUB registered Earth Control Measure Officer (ECMO);
• Familiar with GGBS Green and Gracious Builders scheme audit ;
• At least merit or excellence grade;
• Green environmental conscious;
• Possess high level of initiative, strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid Licences from NEA and PUB
• Remuneration shall commensurate with working experience and qualifications.

Additional Information

Job Description: Handling day to day construction site environmental issues; Critically reviewing, abstracting, and summarising regulatory and client requirements for all areas of environmental compliance; Coordinate and advice project teams on environmental requirement; Monitor and review all environmental issues and support to the Project Managers; Prepare and submit site environmental control programmes and reports; Conduct regular inspections to ensure ECM and environmental plan in place; Liaise with MOM, NEA, PUB, and other relevant authorities, etc; Facilitate and conduct internal auditing to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, GGBS, and BizSafe; Any other ad hoc duties that may be assigned.
