Responsibilities
- As a key player on our P&C team, you'll be involved in a wide variety of tasks, from managing recruitment processes to supporting key HR initiatives. Your contributions will make a real impact on how we attract and retain top talent at Morningstar. Some of your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Coordinating interviews and distributing assessments for various roles, ensuring smooth communication between candidates and hiring managers.
- Posting job openings across college networks, job boards, and social media platforms to expand our pool of qualified candidates.
- Partnering with the HR team on exciting projects like recruiting, training, employee communications, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and process improvements.
- Maintaining and updating employee records using cutting-edge HR systems, giving you exposure to enterprise cloud technologies.
- Administering background checks for new hires and following up with candidates to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Troubleshooting any HR-related issues and assisting managers and leaders in creating a positive, thriving work environment.
Requirements
- We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, and ready to grow.
- You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- You have proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook (Excel lovers, you're welcome!).
- You are fluent in English (bonus points if you speak 1-2 additional EU languages).
- You are a self-starter mindset with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- You have a passion for continuous improvement and making meaningful contributions to our team.
- You have prior experience in recruiting, HR, or customer service is a plus but not required-we're excited to help you learn and grow
