Master Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles, including engine, transmission, suspension, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests to identify issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment, tools, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive problems.
• Complete service and repair tasks efficiently and accurately to meet customer expectations and dealership standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to provide updates on repair progress and recommendations for future maintenance.
• Adhere to dealership policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of automotive technical training program or apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership or automotive repair facility.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various vehicle systems.
• Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and service manuals.
• ASE certification or manufacturer-specific certifications (Mazda preferred) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
