JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Claims Analyst to support data-driven decision-making within our claims operations. This role is responsible for analyzing claims data, identifying trends, and delivering actionable insights using advanced tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Tableau, while also supporting key administrative and operational workflows. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in data analysis, reporting, and process coordination. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Data Analysis & Reporting Utilize advanced Excel techniques (e.g., pivot tables, macros, formulas, Power Query) to manipulate and analyze data Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using Tableau and PowerBI Design and produce a wide range of analytical reports, including operational, financial, and ad hoc reporting, to support business needs and strategic decision-making Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort Provide actionable recommendations to improve claims processes, reduce risk, and optimize performance Conduct root cause analysis on claim discrepancies, denials, or outliers Pull claim reports and loss data from multiple carrier/TPA technology platforms Consistently establish and maintain high levels of trust and confidence with clients, through constant contact, prompt response (within 24 hours) and resolution of client's questions and claim issues Perform unit statistical claim evaluations Develop experience modification projections for clients and internal staff Operational & Administrative Support Provide administrative assistance & support to the Data Analytics Manager/AVP and Team Leaders. Manage and maintain shared Outlook inboxes, including monitoring, prioritizing, and responding to inquiries Route incoming Property & Casualty (P&C) claims to the appropriate advocate or internal resource Manage incoming advocacy referral requests, ensuring proper documentation and timely assignment Track and follow up on outstanding requests to ensure completion within service level expectations Support process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives across claims operations Function as a liaison between clients, carriers/TPA's, and related vendors Respond timely to internal staff regarding claim questions and requests Assist in onboarding new clients Personal and Organizational Development Set priorities and manage workflow for self to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of all responsibilities Maintain cordial and effective relations with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts Maintain up-to-date client claim files, workflow logs, manuals or other required documentation and records Interact with others effectively utilizing effective communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance as needed to achieve the business goals of the Company Stay informed regarding carrier' claims product/program developments and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None KEY COMPETENCIES: Advanced knowledge of navigating the Internet as well as various Microsoft Office programs to include Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively Thorough attention to detail and time management abilities Strong ability to multi-task and understand priorities Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Process improvement mindset Ability to work effectively and efficiently both with and without direct supervision Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment as well as independently Effective written and oral communication skills EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of P&C insurance claims experience Insurance Broker experience preferred College Degree and/or insurance related experi
