Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Social Care service on a locum basis. This role focuses on assessing functional needs, supporting residents with equipment and adaptations, and promoting independence within the community.
Working pattern: Hybrid - community visits + remote reporting
What will your responsibilities be?
Carry out functional assessments for adults with physical disabilities, frailty, or complex needs
Prescribe equipment to promote safe moving & handling and independence
Make recommendations for minor and major home adaptations
Collaborate with physiotherapists, social workers, and external partners
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
Prioritise caseloads effectively in line with service demands
Contribute to safeguarding and risk assessments where required
