Accountant

About the role

You will serve as an Accountant in the Accounting Department, Financial Accounting Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09/11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1). Manage multiple levels of tasking to achieve measurable and high-quality outcomes including setting priorities, maintaining controls, and ensuring compliance with regulations/guidance; 2) Ability to analyze financial issues, evaluate data, and develop timely, well-balanced solutions; 3) Prepare, review, and reconcile financial or operational reports in compliance with established requirements; 4)Analyze, evaluate and review accounting data to identify trends and formulate data-driven recommendations; 5) Proficiency using integrated financial systems including Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Microsoft Office Suite, and DCAS to extract data, resolve issues, and maintain data integrity.
