  • Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent - required
  • Minimum of 6 months recent phlebotomy experience and/or completion of formal Phlebotomist training program - required
  • Current BLS and/or CPR/AED Certification - required
  • CPT (Certified Phlebotomist Technician) Certification - preferred
  • IV Certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire date - preferred
  • Associate college degree in a medical field - strongly preferred
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Move supplies up to 25 lbs
  • Lift equipment up to 25 lbs
  • Standing and walking 50% of time
  • Typing and sitting 50% of time
  • Up to date on health screenings (TB, Hepatitis) and immunizations

  • $17.89 - $20.22 USD

Job Summary: Join our team as a Phlebotomist and play a vital role in patient care by collecting blood samples with precision and compassion. You'll ensure accurate labeling, maintain sample integrity, and provide a positive experience for patients in a fast-paced clinical setting. Responsibilities and Duties: Oversee electronic lab orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness for all patients. Administer and record injections. Assist with IV administration and documentation. Conduct lab and therapeutic phlebotomy draws. Cross-train to cover various clinic areas, including medical assistance and front desk duties as required. Perform other tasks as directed by the provider or manager. Utilize problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to address patient complaints. Attend scheduled departmental staff and clinical meetings. Ensure full compliance with OnePeak Medical's Employee Handbook and the Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist Binder in carrying out all duties and services. Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support OnePeak Medical.
