Additional Information

AECOM is currently seeking a Field Technician Intern for a new position based in our Sudbury, ON office. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 4 months starting in May 2026. Job Responsibilities Include: Provides basic support in the areas of construction administration and inspection activities in support of projects. Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating field survey equipment, reading and interpreting contract documents, inspecting construction installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining project documentation on a daily basis when on a construction site. Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties. Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records. General understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Performs routine tasks while working under close supervision. Minimum Requirements: Enrolled in and working towards a Civil Engineering Technician/Technology diploma or equivalent
