About the role

You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the SHAPEC PLANNING YARD, ENGINEERING and PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specializef experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: * Experience applying the advanced theories, concepts, principles and practices of mechanical, electrical, electronics and structural systems associated with submarine design, maintenance, overhaul and construction. * Experience in workload forecasting and operating scheduling. * Experience in applying theories, principles, practices and techniques in production and work planning. * Experience in conflict resolution between operating and management requirements.
