Job Overview We are looking for an Engine Developer to join Wargaming and be a part of the product team working on World of Tanks Console. This position involves developing a console platform game engine. Reports to Development Director What will you do? Implement new and improve existing features in the game engine. Refactoring, code optimization, fix bugs. Integration and support of third-party libraries. Performance and memory optimizations (client, editor). Creation of tech documentation. Collaboration with the game product team and QA. What are we looking for? Strong technical background. 3+ years of experience in commercial C++ development. Experience in any graphics API (DirectX, Vulkan, OpenGL). Experience in writing shaders (GSL, HLSL). Basic knowledge of linear algebra (vectors, matrix, quaternions). Experience in the creation of own 3D demo applications or the creation of own engine. Knowledge and experience in working with debugging and profiling tools (Nsight, Renderdoc, PIX etc.). Understanding the graphics pipeline and GPU architecture. Practical knowledge of DirectX 11/12/Vulkan. What additional skills will help you stand out? Have released game titles in the portfolio. Knowledge and experience in "Entity Component System". An intermediate level of English. Work mode Hybrid (3 days of work from the office). This role is eligible for relocation & immigration support.
