The Client Specialist at BBD provides service and support for internal and external clients. They work in a dynamic environment and as a team to process transactions related to full cycle group benefits administration. This Customer Success role provides value to our clients through daily customer service, leveraging technology, communication skills, and responsiveness in order to maintain a block of BBD's clients. The Client Specialist will: Support the Achievement of Customer Success Outcomes Process all transactions related to full cycle of group benefit administration Anticipate, recommend solutions and make decisions based on the needs of the client Accountable for prompt response (24-48 hours) Responsible for complete and accurate documentation of plan member changes Strive for continuous improvement of all processes Adapt and support changing needs of Customer Success team Accountable for understanding all of BBD's internal and client facing technology Support and promote use of BBD's technologies for all clients Research, investigate and provide client focused solutions To be successful as a Client Specialist, you will need: One- to two-years of related work experience (industry/professional office setting) Knowledge of current insurance marketplace an asset Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and in group setting and handle multiple tasks and responsibilities To be capable of performing well in a deadline-driven environment with cyclical work and frequent interruptions Strong decision making and problem-solving skills Computer proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, and databases A positive attitude, strong team player and customer focused
