A Game Designer is responsible for both the overall game concept and the detailed elements of the game design. They develop the rules of the game, the setting, story and characters, props such as weapons and vehicles and different ways the game may be played. Duties and Responsibilities: Work closely with the technology and art leads to vet game requirements and dependencies Act as an expert resource on market competition and industry trends Keep abreast of and propose innovative design methods and processes Contribute to improved development processes Create, document and communicate all aspects of the overall game vision Oversee all elements of gameplay, story, characters, level design and scripts Collaborate with the design, art and technical teams to implement and iterate on the game vision
