The Senior Digital Business Analyst is responsible for translating complex business needs into clear, testable and deliverable requirements that enable safe, effective digital outcomes for HammondCare. The role operates at the intersection of business process, digital delivery, and change, working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams and vendors to ensure solutions are well‑designed, buildable, testable and adoptable. The role has a strong focus on agile and DevOps delivery, deep business process mapping, and continuous improvement, ensuring that digital initiatives reduce complexity, remove waste, and improve outcomes for staff and the people HammondCare serves. This role a maximum term role for 22 months, based at St Leonards with hybrid working opportunities. What we can offer you We care about your wellbeing at HammondCare and as a result offer a wide range of health and lifestyle benefits including: NFP salary packaging ($15,900 tax free) plus meals and entertainment benefit (up to $2,650 tax free) Additional leave purchase options and 14 weeks paid parental leave Flexible working options, including hybrid arrangements Discounts on everyday products and services Discounted healthcare memberships - access to network of fitness centres and pools for employees and families Free access to independent counselling support for employees and families Health & Wellbeing programmes Reward & Recognition programmes Referral bonuses Career and professional development opportunities Key Responsibilities include Agile Analysis & User Stories Elicit, analyse and document business requirements using agile formats (epics, features, user stories) Produce clear acceptance criteria to support development, testing and release Maintain traceability from business outcomes through to delivered functionality Support backlog refinement, prioritisation and scope trade‑offs with Product and Delivery leads DevOps & Delivery Alignment Work closely with delivery teams and vendors in an iterative DevOps delivery model Clarify intent, manage requirement changes, and reduce rework through early and ongoing collaboration Support delivery through build, test and acceptance to ensure outcomes align with business needs Ensure functional and non‑functional requirements (e.g. usability, security, performance, privacy) are clearly articulated Deep Business Process Mapping Lead current‑state process analysis with frontline and business teams Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, rework loops and control gaps Design future‑state processes that simplify work and support sustainable operations Produce high‑quality artefacts including process maps, use cases and functional specifications Continuous Improvement (Lean) Apply Lean / continuous improvement principles to reduce waste and improve end‑to‑end flow Support data‑informed decision‑making and pragmatic process optimisation Balance improvement ambition with operational reality in a care‑based environment Stakeholder Engagement Facilitate workshops, interviews and cross‑functional sessions to drive clarity and alignment Translate complex technical concepts into language understood by non‑technical stakeholders Build strong working relationships across clinical, operational, digital and vendor teams Risk, Issues & Dependencies Identify and manage requirements‑related risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies Contribute to RAID management with delivery leadership Surface delivery and adoption risks early and pragmatically Readiness & Adoption Support Support business readiness by ensuring process, training and transition impacts are understood Work with change resources to ensure solutions are ready to move into BAU About You Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action At least 10 year's experience as a Senior Digital Business Analyst in complex digital environments Strong capability in agile analysis, including writing user stories and acceptance criteria Experience working within iterative / DevOps delivery models Advanced business process mapping skills (current and future state) Strong analytical and problem‑solving ca
