SAP Basis Administrator

Responsibilities

• Maintain the availability, stability, and performance of SAP systems, including preventive maintenance and regular health checks.
• Administer SAP users, clients, authorizations, and system configurations while managing system performance, monitoring, audit logs, and background jobs.
• Execute transport management, system patching, kernel upgrades, software updates, and other SAP Basis maintenance activities.
• Perform system backup, recovery, and support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) initiatives.
• Manage the SAP landscape, including system architecture, hardware infrastructure, and environment integration.
• Provide day-to-day SAP Basis support, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure timely incident resolution within SLA.
• Coordinate with external vendors on support, maintenance, and technical issue resolution.
• Participate in and deliver SAP infrastructure and enhancement projects within agreed timelines.
• Maintain 24/7 availability, stability, and performance of SAP systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of SAP Basis administration is required.
• 1-2 years of experience in SAP Basis or related SAP support role.
• Exposure to SAP HANA, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP S/4HANA environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems is preferred.
