Position Title: Quality Assurance Technician Summary Description Verify X-ray machines are working correctly Weigh and Verify weights of packages. Take and Record Temperatures of products Verify Correct Labels are on the product Weigh out Spices Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are being followed by all employees Perform Simple Math Computer knowledge needed to enter data Ability to work in a cold and wet environment Knowledge of SSOP's Knowledge of HACCP Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow our color code system in regard to food safety. Other duties as directed by Supervisor. Job Requirements Food safety and quality are the responsibility of every individual working at Kansas City Sausage Company. You are expected to: Follow USDA/SQF and GMP guidelines. Must be able to read and write in English to use equipment. Stay focused on quality while maintaining speed. Ability to work in temperature extremes from 38°F to -17°F.
