Trade Operator (Dry Bulk)

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end execution of physical commodity trades.
• Review and administer sales and purchase contracts.
• Coordinate with traders, suppliers, customers, shipping agents, inspection companies, banks, and logistics providers.
• Monitor shipment schedules and resolve operational issues to ensure timely cargo delivery.
• Prepare and verify trade and shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin, and other required documentation.
• Support trade finance activities, including Letters of Credit, invoicing, and payment follow-up.
• Maintain accurate trade records and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams to support efficient trade execution and process improvements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in trade operations, shipping, logistics, or commodity trading.
• Knowledge of international trade documentation, Incoterms, and trade finance processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ERP or commodity trading system experience is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
