Ocean Spray is hiring for a(n) Food Safety & Quality Supervisor! We're a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. Three maverick farmers started it all - and we've been making our own way ever since. The Food Safety & Quality Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring plant FSQA processes. You will manage process control and quality checks, evaluate quality reports, and implement corrective measures as needed. You will also lead Quality teams, providing training, leadership, and coaching to ensure operational excellence. Additionally, you will manage project budgets, coordinate audits, and enact continuous improvement initiatives. A Day in the Life... - Monitors process control, raw and packaging materials, quality checks, and GMP compliance. - Analyzes and evaluates various quality reports and trends, developing corrective actions and pro-active plans as needed. - Provides training and coaching to assigned Quality Technicians and employees as required. - Provides leadership in an environment of continuous improvement to maximize operating efficiencies with adherence to all quality standards. - Interacts with outside governmental agencies, USDA, FDA, and State Department of Agriculture, as directed or required. Coordinates internal audit requirements as directed or required. - Responsible for creating/managing assigned budgets. - Perform other miscellaneous projects/duties as assigned.
