Shift: 9:30 PM-6:00 AM Hourly Rate: $26.00 an hour + $$1.00 shift differential Reporting to the Production team leader, you will support 3rd Shift operations as a Production Cook (Machine Operator) by preparing, monitoring, and inspecting baked goods while ensuring food safety, quality standards, and production goals are met in an onsite manufacturing environment. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Prepare and cook products according to established recipes and production specifications. Observe baked goods for color, appearance, and quality and remove non‑conforming product from the line. Inspect products during production and report quality issues. Check and record temperatures for batter, egg wash, and other ingredients. Operate production equipment and use basic tools to make minor adjustments. Follow safety procedures and report food safety, quality, or equipment concerns. Complete required cleaning tasks and safely work with approved chemicals. Follow Critical Control Points, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, and Good Manufacturing Practices. Communicate issues and production concerns to the Production team leader. Support frequent overtime and weekend work, as this role has the highest overtime demand. Ingredients Required for Your Success High school diploma or GED. Experience in food manufacturing or production preferred. Familiarity with machine operation and basic hand tools. Knowledge of food safety practices, including Critical Control Points, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, and Good Manufacturing Practices. Comfort working with cleaning chemicals after training and validation. Strong attention to detail and quality. Must be able to work regular overtime and weekends Physical Requirements More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include: - Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time. - Performing consistent repetitive tasks. - Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
