The New York City Office of the Actuary (NYCOA) provides actuarial services to the City's five actuarially funded Retirement Systems and other funds, including Variable Supplements Funds, Tax-Deferred Annuity Programs, life insurance funds, closed pension funds and the New York City Health Benefits Program. In addition, the NYCOA provides actuarial information - pension and Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB) to employers, City and State legislative bodies, labor organizations, oversight agencies, and active and retired members. The Office of the Actuary is seeking two College Aides. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Assist with a document management project. Responsible for verifying that original paper records match the new digital version by inspecting and comparing the digital records to the paper records to ensure quality and accuracy. - Provide additional clerical and administrative support to staff when needed such as organizing files related to the document management project and other special projects.
