Carnegie Mellon University's department of Mechanical Engineering is searching for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing support by working to develop novel algorithms on finite element method, isogeometric analysis, geometric modeling, machine learning and digital twins to study various applications such as computational biomedicine and mechanics and such other tasks that are assigned to you. Core Responsibilities: Conduct novel research on algorithm development and apply to related biomedical and engineering applications and manage related projects Publish in top journals and help with proposal writing Supervise the research of graduate and undergraduate students in the lab Other duties as assigned.
