• Support project sponsors in development of conceptual estimates; collaborate with engineering, project management, and other stakeholders in the development of the detailed project scope of work; prepare detailed project cost estimates based on the approved scope of work.
• Develop and analyze historical records of project costs; review and critique designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives when appropriate.
• Adhere to standard processes and procedures for estimating; review estimate basis and assumptions for completeness and reasonableness. Work with functional departments and service organization to develop services labor estimates.
• Provide technical direction and guidance regarding estimate approach/development, assumptions/qualifications and resolution of estimate issues.
• Assist with maintaining the integrity of the estimating software and associated resource and assembly cost data.
• Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Company's Corporate Compliance Policy.

• Engineer Associate (Grade 06):
• This is an entry level position for new graduates with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET* (Electrical Engineering Degree Highly Preferred)
• Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering examination in preparation for future licensing as a Professional Engineer (PE) is encouraged and preferred.
• *ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
• Acceptable alternative:
• A Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master's degree or PhD in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelor's program.
• Engineer (Grade -07)
• Has typically acquired two - four (2-4) or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*. (Electrical Engineering degree Highly Preferred)
• Individuals with a Master's degree in engineering from an engineering program accredited by ABET* may be considered for entry into the organization at this level.
• Engineer Sr. (Grade 08):
• Has typically acquired 4 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*; or 2 years of related engineering experience along with a Master's degree or PhD in engineering from a program accredited by ABET*;
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico** is encouraged and preferred. *ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
• Acceptable alternative is:
• (1) a Bachelor's degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master's degree or PhD in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited
