ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the design, development, and deployment of all backend systems supporting HGA backend transformation initiatives, focusing on digitalization, AI integration, and automation. Develop and optimize image processing and machine vision algorithms using platforms such as VIDI, VPRO, COGNEX or equivalent tools to improve inspection accuracy, defect detection, and production efficiency. Integrate AI/ML solutions into manufacturing processes, including model development, training, validation, and continuous performance improvement. Design and maintain scalable backend architectures to support real-time data processing, system interoperability, and high-throughput manufacturing environments. Debug and troubleshoot hardware-software interfaces, including cameras, sensors, PLCs, and industrial communication protocols, ensuring stable and reliable system performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (process engineering, equipment engineering, IT, and operations) to implement end-to-end automation solutions. Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for system architecture, algorithms, and integration processes. REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field 2+ Years experience in Software development or related field Knowledge on software development languages (Python/R coding, Java, C++, C#), database management (SQL, NoSQL), data analytics tools, Spotfire and data visualization platforms PREFERRED: Eager on learning and self-development Experience in electronics or HDD industry Experienced in high-volume manufacturing
