As an Income Tax Analyst (I/II), you will support federal income tax compliance and reporting by analyzing data, preparing tax returns, and contributing to financial statement processes. This role offers progressive responsibility based on your experience and performance. You'll partner across the organization, solve complex problems, and strengthen your technical tax foundation in a collaborative, high-performing environment. Responsibilities/Expectations All Levels Execute income tax compliance processes with accuracy and efficiency Collect, analyze, and validate data to support tax reporting and filings Support audits, notices, and tax-related inquiries Partner cross-functionally to gather and deliver tax data and reporting Prepare and present reports and insights to internal stakeholders Contribute to continuous improvement of tax processes Other duties as assigned Level I (In addition to above) Support PP&E tax reconciliations Prepare basic tax returns and supporting schedules Assist with ASC 740 provision workpapers and analyses Provide data support for compliance and reporting activities Level II (In addition to above) Reconcile tax PP&E and determine appropriate tax lives Prepare federal income tax returns for corporations and partnerships Research tax issues and identify risk and tax-saving opportunities Complete ASC 740 income tax provision workpapers Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts and record tax entries Respond to complex audit requests and external notices Education/Years of Experience Level I: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related field; Master's degree or CPA track preferred Level II: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related field with 2+ years of income tax experience; Master's degree, CPA, or public accounting experience preferred Other Requirements Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to interpret data and deliver clear, actionable insights Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC applications Demonstrates collaboration, adaptability, and a safety-first mindset Level II: Working knowledge of tax compliance and accounting practices Level I: Foundational knowledge of tax compliance and accounting practices #LI-AB1 About Tulsa: Our corporate headquarters is located in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, the 2nd largest city in Oklahoma and the 47th most populous in the U.S. Tulsa is known as the Mother of "The Mother Road" - Route 66, and boasts impressive art deco architecture, the #1 city park in the U.S. (The Gathering Place) and is a great venue for live music.
