Bring your IT and OT expertise to LMV (LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam) and take ownership of Manufacturing Execution Systems - ensuring reliable technology operations that keep our Moulding production running at peak performance. Note: This is an individual contributor position with no direct team leadership responsibilities. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position. Core Responsibilities Own and manage the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) service, ensuring the LEGO Production team consistently meets company reliability and data quality requirements. Lead technology solutions supporting manufacturing operations, spanning both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) domains. Collaborate with business stakeholders, other IT service owners, and operational units to understand requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into scalable and effective technical solutions. Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and solutions to support manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with both OT and IT strategies. Develop and contribute to comprehensive architecture plans for manufacturing technology solutions, factoring in system integration, scalability, performance, support, data analytics, and security. Contribute to the design of system interfaces between corporate SAP and other relevant information systems. Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of all LEGO internal systems and system interfaces within the area of responsibility. Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to daily production issues, troubleshooting through log files, system events, and other diagnostic tools, ensuring 24/7 support coverage for production and maintenance. Take responsibility for the appropriate integration and implementation of the QEHS system within operational processes in the relevant area, and ensure its ongoing effectiveness. Perform other tasks as assigned by the People Leader. Play Your Part in Our Team Succeeding The Technology team at LMV manages and controls the manufacturing operations systems across the facility, spanning both business application software and IT hardware. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the systems that keep the Moulding Operation running reliably at LMV. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage globally across LEGO sites, collaborating with Global Platform Owners, Product Owners, MD&I, and Maintenance and Engineering teams, while applying a systematic improvement mindset to help LMV achieve world-class manufacturing technology management. This position also offers a clear path for growth, with opportunities to move laterally or upward into areas such as Production, Moulds, Quality, and Engineering. Do You Have What It Takes? Education A University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Must-Have Qualifications Solid understanding of ERP and MES systems, with the ability to support integration and operational efficiency. Familiarity with manufacturing ways of working and operational environments. Strong ability to diagnose and resolve basic networking issues, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance. Experience with monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana and Elastic. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, to enhance business processes and data insights. Familiarity with managing and configuring MDM solutions, along with experience managing IT assets. Solid understanding of SQL and data warehousing concepts, with the ability to effectively manage and query large datasets. Proficiency in scripting and programming with PowerShell and Python for automation and task optimization. Structured, self-directed, and collaborative working style, with strong problem-solving skills. High level of proactiveness, ambition, persistence, dedication, and flexibility, including availability for on-call rotation. Comfortable working in a globally collaborative environment across multiple LEGO sites.
