Production Planner (6-Month Contract, Manufacturing)

Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP or similar).
• Comfortable using Excel for tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
• Good coordination and communication skills to work across departments.
• Detail-oriented with strong planning and problem-solving abilities.

Plan and coordinate production output for finished goods and sub-assemblies to support customer orders and changing demand. Manage inventory levels across distribution points, ensuring sufficient stock while avoiding excess or obsolescence. Use planning systems to release work orders, track supply requirements, and adjust schedules based on demand fluctuations. Work closely with customer service, production, and logistics teams to address order changes, shortages, and delivery timelines. Monitor planning performance (e.g., backorders, stock levels) and support continuous improvements in workflow, accuracy, and efficiency.
