Requirements

• Relevant BA or equivalent is required .
• Extensive experience in video production equipment: 4K cameras, microphones, lighting equipment, grip equipment is required .
• In-depth knowledge of software: Adobe Premiere; Davinci, MPEG Streamclip ; Audacity; iMovie is required .
• Experience in all aspects of video art production and postproduction (single channel, multiple channel and / or installation) is required .
• In-depth knowledge of animation techniques required .
• The successful applicant must have effective communication skills including the ability to explain subject material to students, be punctual in attending classes, and be able to meet appropriate deadlines .
• Must be available to attend all scheduled class hours .

Through creative projects, critiques, screenings, readings, lectures and discussions, students will be introduced to a variety of forms and approaches to video art, emphasizing creating video art and its contextualization in contemporary art discourses.
