MISSION : To assess debtor risks and ensure the portfolio of debtors is with up-to-date information. Control and optimize internal resources and access to external sources to meet strategic objectives. He/she liaises with Underwriters in order to maintain coherence between the DRA and the risk exposure. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Enhanced Information handling: Handle worklist tasks out of the automatic workflow in a timely and efficient manner ensuring SLA's are respected. Process added value tasks linked to worklists and e-mail exchange with Underwriting. Create "classical enquiry orders" upon request from Underwriting. Check source scores and consistency of Debtor Risk Assessments (DRA D & E) and adapt if necessary (DRA C) Write DRA reviews in which conclusions are drawn and that recommendations are clear and precise. Exchange with Underwriting on DRA consistency and decide on necessity of corrective actions. Research additional information, such as press information, where required. Achieve target objectives in respect of production and review of DRA. Support Coface regional development and enhance the underwriting capabilities by performing financial and field analysis and providing a fair credit risk rating. Network and communicate to build market relationships and industry knowledge about key industry sectors and make sector studies and research that aim at improving sector expertise. Monitoring and compiling industry data and related news. Develop Country reports and macro-economic studies. Perform physical visits for key buyers. Perform regular checks on the quality of the production of the department. Working closely with information providers to monitor the response time and the quality of the information provided to Coface through its partners. Performing reports and other duties assigned by the management. Communication Contact companies and carry out phone interviews to obtain financial and business information in order to assess their current situation. Liaise with local information provider (reviews, inquiries,). Pro-actively build and maintain good working relationships with underwriting and information colleagues. Communicates to underwriters' requests and highlights any adverse information which is relevant to a review of exposure, particularly when a DRA is downgraded and exposure is significant. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures as laid down by Coface and external regulators. Education: Graduate/Post graduate required with a concentration in Finance or equivalent.
