Reporting to the Manager, Ops, Transport, the Transportation Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of our Transport Team which is comprised of 100 plus Drivers that work in an extremely time sensitive industry. You will be working with your peers and team leads to ensure our goals around safety, security, on-time performance, and efficiency are met. As we are a 24hr/day, 7 days per week operation, you must be able to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Interfaces with the Customers' schedules and airport information in real time, optimizing the allocation of workloads to the Drivers / Loaders in accordance with these requirements, safely meeting on time performance - Monitor Internal and External systems to determine arriving and departing flight times to arrange for drivers to meet aircraft for unloading/loading - Provides accurate and timely information to transportation supervisors / leads - Maintain clean working area, maintain clean loading docks, maintain clean equipment following rules - Comply with all safety rules and company standards - Wear uniform & safety shoes while on duty - Report / Communicate any irregularities to hierarchy and other teams on a daily basis - Inspect everyday if logbooks are properly filled, and report any discrepancy by email to the Handling Manager & the Unit Manager OR through the Dispatch daily written report - Perform other duties as assigned
