In your position as Head of Radar Raw Data Processing, you are disciplinary and worldwide technically responsible for the concept development, implementation and verification of algorithms modulating, modeling and processing the radio waves sensing the environment measured by a Radar into digital signals characterizing every perceived reflections. In this position you align and participate actively to the design and realization of the newest ADAS components to fit the needs of the different global car manufacturers. Your tasks in detail: Driving locally disciplinary and globally technically the Raw Data Processing development (incl. planning, concept & verification) Leading and developing a high-performing international team, fostering individual growth and technical excellence Actively supporting and leading organizational improvement topics by acting as a supporting mentor Defining and executing strategic roadmaps for Radar Raw Data Processing (existing and future) features aligned with product strategies Acting as a visionary leader, driving innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement across radar feature and product development Permanently driving cross-domain alignment activities between all involved developers and departments worldwide to ensure integration and functionality of the whole Radar processing Establishing and monitoring objective feedback channels (content/time/cost) measuring the performance to drive the organization External sub-contract management to cover engineering capacity demands that cannot be covered internally Application and compliance with R&D processes and standards within group and assurance of adequate documentation Alignment and interaction with the internal and external customers and participation in workshops, audits & quote Actively supporting Demos, Acquisitions and Quotes (RFI & RFQ) including alignment on requirements Academic degree in engineering, physics or comparable qualification Long-term experience in automotive environment and ADAS Sensor development including technical leadership Proven long-term experience in software development for Radar processing and ADAS systems Knowledge in data and signal processing, statistic, mathematical modeling and SW methods & standards In-depth knowledge of radar technology and its applications in ADAS Track record of leadership and team management in international context Proficiency in programming languages such as embedded C, Python and MATLAB and related development environment Business fluent English and German language skills Strong communication skills and experience with customer interfaces, operating confident, reliably and autonomously Intercultural competence Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Applications from severely handicapped people are welcome. #LI-CS2
