Accounting Intern

Responsibilities

• As an Accounting Intern, you will support the team with both recurring activities and improvement initiatives, including:
• Assist the Accounting Team with daily tasks and month-end close activities
• Help prepare, review, and post journal entries under guidance
• Support the team in preparing for local statutory filings and audit-related requests
• Help maintain accurate documentation and assist with basic reconciliations (as needed)
• Contribute to projects that improve accounting and finance processes, tools, and ways of working

Requirements

• We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, structured, and comfortable working with numbers and detail.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program (HBO/WO) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong communication skills and comfortable working with different stakeholders
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and reliable
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to learn quickly
• Previous internship, part-time job, or coursework relevant to accounting/finance
• Basic familiarity with accounting concepts (e.g., journals, debits/credits, close process)
• Experience with Excel or other tools used for data handling/reporting
• Interest in working in a fast-growing, international company environment
