About the role
The St.Gallen Institute of Management in Asia (SGI) is the local institute of the Swiss University of St.Gallen in Singapore and serves as its Asia hub since 2011. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant (75%position, flexible) commencing August 1st, 2026, or by mutual agreement, to strengthen our team in Singapore. At the institute, we are international team of 12 professionals, and our office is located in a shophouse on Amoy Street, in the heart of Singapore's Chinatown district. You will join a small, international, and entrepreneurial team to actively support the long-term development of the teaching programmes at the SGI as well as the university's profile in Asia. The position is suited for candidates with a willingness to work with young people and to support their learning journey. We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills and experience in working in international teams. Tasks and responsibilities - Strengthen a dedicated team to represent one of the best European Business Schools in Singapore and to further develop the University's presence in Asia - Support the institute's diverse teaching programmes including student team organization and mentorship, recruiting course participants, organizing of events, handling student matters and being a person of contact - Develop the institute's projects and marketing activities incl. social media Qualification, work experience, and skills - Master degree from a recognised Institution of Higher Education - Preferably at least 3 years of work experience / Work experience in the educational sector is an advantage - Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills - Pro-active approach to problem solving and good organizational skills Further information regarding the institute's recent activities can be found at: www.singapore.unisg.ch Applications should include a motivation letter, the master certificate, and a CV in a single PDF document.
