Assistant Project Manager (Construction) - Up to $6k

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in overseeing and coordinating on-site construction activities for structural steel works.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and enforce proper safety procedures across site operations.
• Conduct routine safety briefings and monitor adherence to safety regulations among site personnel.
• Assist in planning and reviewing construction methodologies for steel structure fabrication and installation, including sequencing and feasibility considerations.
• Track project progress to ensure timely delivery in accordance with project schedules and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on site progress, key milestones, and potential issues.
• Coordinate and manage project resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials to support smooth project execution.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned in line with project needs.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in structural steel or steel structure construction within Singapore.
• Comfortable working on-site and travelling across project locations when required.
