Role Summary The Capability Lead - Banking is a senior leadership role responsible for defining, shaping, and delivering the digital banking capability across Wealth Management. This includes end-to-end ownership of the vision, roadmap, and execution across deposits, lending, servicing, and transaction experiences, ensuring alignment to business priorities and delivering measurable client and partner impact. Operating at the center of business, technology, design, and operations, the role is accountable for translating strategic objectives into clear, executable plans and driving delivery through cross-functional teams. The Capability Lead will lead the continued modernization of banking experiences, streamlining key workflows and evolving the platform to support more intuitive, efficient, and scalable client and partner interactions. This includes integrating and advancing payment and money movement capabilities as a seamless part of the broader banking experience, ensuring consistency in delivery, performance, and user experience. Responsibilities Include This role is accountable for the full lifecycle of the banking capability, including defining direction, prioritizing investments, and ensuring disciplined execution across a complex portfolio of initiatives. The Capability Lead will establish and maintain a multi-year roadmap that spans core banking journeys such as account opening, lending, servicing, and transaction processing, ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities and platform evolution. The role requires strong delivery ownership, driving initiatives from concept through launch and ongoing optimization, while actively managing dependencies, risks, and trade-offs. The leader will work closely with business, technology, operations, risk, and design partners to ensure that solutions are delivered effectively and generate meaningful outcomes in terms of client experience, operational efficiency, and scalability. A key expectation is the ability to connect related capabilities into cohesive experiences-particularly across transaction and servicing flows-ensuring that clients and partners experience a unified, seamless platform rather than a set of disconnected features. The role also includes accountability for governance and communication, providing clear and consistent updates to leadership on roadmap progress, delivery performance, risks, and value realization. Financial management is a core component, including ownership of capital and expense planning and ensuring that investments are aligned to the highest-impact priorities. In addition, the Capability Lead will build and lead a high-performing team, reinforcing strong execution discipline, clear accountability, and a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Necessary Qualifications & Experience Candidates should bring significant experience in digital banking, product, or capability leadership roles, with strong familiarity across deposit, lending, and servicing journeys. A proven track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives and delivering in complex, cross-functional environments is required, along with the ability to operate effectively across both strategic planning and hands-on execution. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential to drive alignment and deliver outcomes at scale. Salary Range: $137,400 - 233,600 USD Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
