Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Social Worker for its client's busy statutory Children and Young People's Service team. The role involves holding and managing a varied caseload of Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (LAC) cases, allocated by the Team Manager or Assistant Team Manager. The postholder will undertake high-quality assessments and work closely with multi-agency partners to develop, monitor, and manage effective plans that deliver positive and timely outcomes for children and young people. What will your responsibilities be? Hold and manage a caseload of Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children cases. Undertake statutory assessments in line with legislation, guidance, and local procedures. Formulate, implement, monitor, and review child-centred plans to ensure children's safety and wellbeing. Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to achieve sustainable and timely outcomes for children. Ensure the voice of the child is central to all assessments, planning, and decision-making. Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records and reports using electronic systems. Participate in supervision and reflective practice with the Team Manager or Assistant Team Manager. Work in accordance with North Yorkshire County Council policies and statutory requirements.
