About the role

As part of its ongoing growth and transformation initiatives, the organisation is seeking a Finance Executive, General Ledger (Grants) to strengthen its finance operations team. Roles & Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team in managing day-to-day grant accounting activities, including month-end and year-end closing, and the preparation of audit schedules. Prepare and review grant-related balance sheet accounts, GST, corporate tax, and other statutory submissions, while liaising with auditors on audit matters. Review grant documents, apply appropriate accounting treatments, maintain project accounts, and ensure timely closure of completed projects. Ensure accurate and timely submission of grant claims, monitor grant fund receipts, review billings, and resolve unreconciled balances. Drive process improvement initiatives, and support ad-hoc assignments as required. Key Requirements Recognised Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification. Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead capacity. Experience in grant accounting, financial reporting, or shared services environments will be advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; hands-on experience with SAP and prior audit exposure will be an advantage. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
