Supervisory Accountant

About the role

You will serve as a Supervisory Accountant in the Direct Cite Branch of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting and advising on financial legislation, regulations, and policy; 2) identifying, articulating, interpreting and solving complex financial problems, and applying financial rules and regulations; 3) Reviewing, analyzing, and auditing a wide variety of accounting and/or financial systems documentations required to prepare, validate and analyze financial statements, records, and reports and 4) applying a high level of sound independent judgment when approaching financial problems and in the administration of a financial management program.
